The Teton

Commercial Greenhouse

Energy Efficient Design:

  • The low-profile arch roof design of the Teton combines a very energy efficient shape with the engineering expected of Prospiant greenhouses.

Effective Cost Savings:

  • The Teton is commonly covered with double poly it is adaptable to a variety of coverings without changing the structural members of the house. You can hard cover the greenhouse later without major renovations
  • The Teton gives you a truss design capable of supporting overhead basket systems or watering booms without any additional structural changes.
  • Trusses are factory welded using galvanized steel to offer consistency in dimension and ease of site construction.
  • With one-piece trusses, we ship fewer parts and your greenhouse goes together much faster. This means big savings during construction.
  • Wide-span trusses give you additional crop space and minimize shadowing.
  • The Teton can be designed to meet your local building code requirements no matter what the high wind or heavy snow loads are by the licensed professional engineers at Prospiant
  • The Teton truss’s standard straight bottom chord can be modified with a high clearance option. This permits the use of overhead equipment or larger overhead doors without raising the gutter height.

Features of the Teton:

  • Standard Sizes: 18′, 22′, 29′, 36′-9″, 41′-6″, non-standard widths available
  • Sidewall height: 8′-14′
  • Bay Spacing: 10′, 12′
  • Column caps and gutter saddles, made of high-strength Tenzaloy, are designed for easy expansion of the house in either direction.
  • Baked-on white enamel paint adds corrosion resistance to the topside of the galvanized “walk-in” gutter system.
  • Standard aluminum flashings and extrusions.
  • Competitively priced.

MONEY SAVING DESIGN

The low profile quonset roof design of the Teton offers a cost effective, energy efficient growing environment. The clear span trusses maximize growing space, uses minimum roof covering and can be gutter connected for ease of expansion. The Teton is most often covered with double poly but is adaptable to a variety of coverings. Designed for easy conversion, different rigid coverings can be added later with minimal changes to the structural members.

MORE SAVINGS

Teton trusses are factory welded using galvanized steel to offer consistency in dimension and ease of site construction. With one-piece trusses, we ship fewer parts, and your greenhouse goes together much faster. Therefore, you get big savings during construction. Wide-span trusses give you additional crop space and minimize shadowing. They can also be manufactured and shipped in two-piece sections to minimize transportation costs. With our gutter design, you can easily direct roof water to a retention pond or cistern. Baked-on white enamel adds corrosion resistance to the topside of the pregalvanized “walk-in” gutter system.

CHOICES

Options available include partition walls to create separate climate zones and single or double vent systems with aluminum extrusions which can be installed on gable ends, sidewalls, or within the roof. The Teton can be designed for either sub-arctic or tropical environments. The house allows for expansion in either direction. It is designed with a straight bottom chord but is available with a high-clearance truss option. This permits the addition of overhead and oversized doors without having to change to a higher sidewall height. As with all Prospiant greenhouse systems, the Teton carries a one-year warranty. All products manufactured by will be new and free from defective material and workmanship for one year from receipt by the customer.
