Denver Botanic Gardens

Project Description

The Denver Botanic Gardens is located in the middle of the city of Denver. The new production greenhouses and Orangerie are showplaces for botonists. They DBG was one of the first botanic gardens to “emphasize native plants and to champion environmentally responsible practices, such as water conservation and biological control of pests.”

The production greenhouses are 6 Vail gutter-connected structures, each 30′ x 88′. With a 17′ gutter height, they are divided into 12 zones.

The Orangerie is a 14′ x 195′ and 14′ x 34′ alumuminum lean-to greenhouses with roll-up style doors.

When you are in the Denver area, stop and see the gardens, eat in the cafe and rest by the side of the Monet pond.
